VMware vSAN is the correct principal storage for both the Management Domain and the Workload Domain because it is integrated, policy-based, scalable, and managed directly through VCF and vSphere. The Management Domain requirement explicitly calls for a highly scalable integrated storage solution that does not require additional storage management software or hardware, which aligns with vSAN. The Workload Domain also requires a highly scalable, policy-based storage solution for critical application workloads, which again maps directly to vSAN storage policies and vSAN datastore services.
