The administrator can use the following two options to boot the system into the single user mode:

This option will tell the system to use the single target, which is a unit that defines the state of the system in the single user mode. The administrator can then press Ctrl+X to boot the system with the modified kernel line. This option will boot the system into the single user mode and allow the administrator to troubleshoot the issues.
