CSI IFC Question Answer
At what age must an RRSP be terminated?
65
70
71
69
An RRSP must be terminated by the end of the calendar year in which the holder turns 71. At that time, assets must either be:
Withdrawn in full (taxable),
Converted to a Registered Retirement Income Fund (RRIF), or
Used to purchase an annuity.
Thus, the correct age is 71.
