During the physical racking and stacking of a Pure Storage FlashArray, ensuring correct power delivery is a foundational step. The standard 3U FlashArray models—which include the //X10, //X20, //X50, //X70, and //X90—operate using highly efficient power supply units (PSUs) that do not require massive industrial power draws.

According to the official Pure Storage FlashArray Installation Guide, the standard accessory kit shipped with every new 3U array includes C13 to C14 power cables . The C13 end of the cable plugs directly into the C14 receptacle located on the power supplies at the rear of the array chassis, while the C14 end plugs into a standard C13 output receptacle on the datacenter's rack Power Distribution Unit (PDU).
