In a Data Mart Data Store object (advanced), the inbound table (/BIC/A1) is not relevant for reporting.

SAP BW/4HANA provides a database view (BIC/A8) for external SQL access

When data is loaded to a Direct Update Data Store object (advanced), the inbound table (/BIC/A1) is loaded first
