Periodic server-side processing belongs in the B2C CommerceJob Framework. The developer should create a custom Job step implemented by a CommonJS script, register the step throughsteptypes.json, add that step to a Business Manager Job, and configure the Job ' s schedule.
Salesforce ' s official Job Framework guidance states that a custom job step is implemented with a task-oriented or chunk-oriented CommonJS module and described in asteptypes.jsonfile. Once the cartridge is deployed, the custom step becomes available when administrators configure jobs in Business Manager.
The step can query the required order data, produce CSV output, and use B2C Commerce file APIs to place the result into the required WebDAV-accessible directory. Business Manager then controls when the job executes.
Option B is invalid because Salesforce B2C Commerce does not expose Unixcronas the Business Manager scheduling model. Option C unnecessarily creates an external API endpoint for a task that is inherently periodic server-side batch processing.
