According to the Apple Device Support Reference Materials, you can control who can discover your iPhone or iPad when it’s within AirDrop range by setting AirDrop to Contacts Only 1 . This means that only people in your Contacts app can see your device and send you content via AirDrop.  You can also set AirDrop to Receiving Off, which means that no one can see your device or send you content via AirDrop 1 . The other two options, B and C, are not correct because they are not related to AirDrop settings.  Requiring a verification code from the other device in Password & Security settings is a feature that helps you sign in to your Apple ID account on a new device 2 .  Turning off AirDrop in Privacy settings is not possible, as AirDrop is not listed under Privacy settings 3 .  References :  1 :  How to use AirDrop on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support , Section " How to adjust AirDrop settings " .  2 :  Sign in with your Apple ID - Apple Support , Section " Use a verification code with two-factor authentication " .  3 : Privacy settings on iPhone - Apple Support
