What could be a reason Mac doesn’t automatically upgrade to macOS Sequoia?
A volume owner must approve upgrades.
A secure token user must approve upgrades.
“Install macOS updates” is turned off in System Settings > General > Software Update.
“Download new updates when available” is turned off in System Settings > General > Software Update.
If“Install macOS updates”is off inSystem Settings > General > Software Update > Automatic Updates, the Mac won’t upgrade automatically.
Option A: Volume owner isn’t a macOS concept here.
Option B: Secure token isn’t for updates.
Option D: Download-only doesn’t stop install.
