To identify music band names in text with minimal development , use Entity linking in Azure AI Language. Entity linking detects entities in text and disambiguates them by mapping to entries in a knowledge base such as Wikipedia , which covers many bands and artists. This avoids the need to build and train a custom NER model. Key phrase extraction won’t resolve entities, and CLU targets intent/utterance understanding rather than encyclopedic entity resolution.
